Halloween 2010

Happy Halloween from the Kaizen's. As you know every year we've tried to keep our family in theme. This year, since most days my house feels like a zoo, we only thought it was fitting to go as one. Daddy was the zoo keeper, Mommy was the panda bear, Caden was an alligator , Téa went as a monkey and our little Asher was a lion. This was the first year the kids really got into trick or treating. I think it only took them one house to figure out how it works. By the 5th house they were practically banging the door down and Caden even attempted to go into peoples houses. They had a wonderful time and got A LOT of candy. We'll see what next years theme is.

We also took the kids to the pumpkin patch. Little Téa, as usual, led the way and helped most of us find the perfect pumpkin. Later we took the pumpkins home and carved them. I let the kids pick what they wanted and mommy did most of the carving. Téa decided on a horse, Caden picked a dinosaur, Asher ended up with a baseball and bat, and mommy's was a glass of wine, grapes and a bottle of 2 buck chuck. The kids loved seeing them all lit up.

We also participated in the SLO Munchkin March. We dressed up the kids and wagon and paraded through downtown SLO to help raise money for the food bank. It was a blast and they were able to raise almost $500 worth of donations, and 500lbs of food. we will definitely be participating in this next year.

The zoo mobile is the coolest. You should go into business planning theme parties. But for real you should, I'm not 100% sure how you go about advertising that, maybe a website? Anyways, do that, you've got skills!

I'm "working" right now, aka looking back at your blog. Hi! How the heck do you have Asher in such cute clothes all the time? Amelie lives in onsies, that is all. Also I like that you propped him up against a pumpkin to get a sitting photo. Nice.
