Easter 2010

We had a quiet but wonderful Easter this year. The Saturday before Easter our neighborhood had a local Easter egg hunt. The kids had a blast playing with the other kids and had even more fun flying kites. Daddy even got to fly a kite for the first time in his life. Later that evening we dyed our Easter eggs. Caden had a blast coloring on them with crayons, putting them in the dye and most of all putting stickers on them. Téa, on the other hand, was more interested in making things difficult. She wanted to put her hands in the dye and throw her eggs on the ground. Maybe next year she'll be more cooperative. Daddy worked Easter morning so the Easter Bunny made his stop a little later in the afternoon on Sunday. Once Daddy was home the kids got to open their Easter baskets and find some eggs hidden in our backyard. We finished the day off with a yummy Easter dinner. All in all the day was a success.

8 weeks to go

We've officially made it to the third trimester. I can't believe that in 8 weeks we'll finally get to meet our little nugget. Other than a few aches and pains (mainly heartburn), so far this pregnancy has been pretty smooth sailing so I'm hoping the remaining 8 weeks and delivery will continue to be that way. Caden and Téa still aren't convinced that they want this new baby. Any time I try to talk to them about it or show them Mommy's growing tummy they either say "no baby" or "Bye bye baby". Apparently they're not too keen on the idea that their world is about to change. For whatever reason I have a feeling that this baby is going to be a big one. I feel a lot bigger than I did with Téa at this point. Lets hope I'm wrong.

March 2010

Not a whole lot to report this month, just the usual Krazy Kaizen's. We've finally had some sunny days and are trying to take full advantage of them by spending most of our time outside in the backyard. Caden is still going to school 5 days a week and loving every second of it. He is still also receiving physical therapy 2x per week and occupational therapy 1x per week. We're going to be so sad to leave his teachers and therapists up here. He loves them all so much that he even asks on the weekends if he gets to go see them. Téa will be turning 2 next month but unfortunately the "terrible two's" behavior has already been showing it's ugly face. She's been quite mischievous and defiant.
